ENGINEERING AND LOCAL FABRICATION

Steel structures and fabrication in Tierra del Fuego

With offices in Ushuaia and Río Grande, we mobilise to project sites throughout Tierra del Fuego.

At Costa Sur, we provide structural engineering and local steel fabrication across Tierra del Fuego. Our scope ranges from analysis and modelling to shop drawings and the documentation needed for fabrication and site erection.

We combine construction experience with structural design, considering geometry, load-bearing members and connections alongside fabrication and erection requirements.

From structural analysis to construction details

We design and check steel structures for the project loads and conditions. We develop portal frames, beams, columns, purlins, bracing and connections, coordinating interfaces with foundations, the building envelope and services.

  • Structural analysis and design checks.

  • Modelling of the structure and its components.

  • Connection and interface detailing.

  • Shop drawings and erection drawings.

  • Quantity take-offs and material lists.

Tekla Structures and local fabrication

We use Tekla Structures to model structural members and connections. The model provides the basis for drawings and material lists that link structural design with fabrication.

Local fabrication supports the requirements of projects throughout Tierra del Fuego. Each commission has an agreed scope covering engineering, documentation, fabrication or site involvement, as required by the project.

Let's discuss your structure

For a project anywhere in Tierra del Fuego, tell us the structure’s intended use, location, dimensions and design stage. We can develop a proposal from a preliminary design, existing drawings or a brief for fabrication documentation.
