Fire protection systems in Tierra del Fuego
At Costa Sur, we design and install fire protection systems, including pump rooms, sprinkler networks and fire detection systems. We have offices in Ushuaia and Río Grande and mobilise our teams to projects throughout the island of Tierra del Fuego.
We combine engineering, documentation and installation, coordinating each system with the building’s architecture, structure and other services. We agree the scope for each project based on the building use and available information.
Pump rooms, sprinkler systems and fire detection
Our scope covers the main system components and their integration:
- Design and installation of fire pump rooms and integrated pumping systems.
- Sprinkler networks, pipework and valve assemblies.
- Dry-pipe sprinkler systems with dry-pipe valves.
- Fire hydrant networks and connections.
- Fire detection systems.
The design and equipment layout are developed for each project. Coordination covers pipe routes, component locations and interfaces with the building’s plant rooms.
Engineering and documentation for construction
We prepare system designs and calculations, together with the drawings and technical documentation included in the agreed scope. BIM modelling helps the team visualise plant rooms, equipment and pipe networks and review their coordination before installation.
Detailed models and installation records show valve assemblies, manifolds and pumping equipment. They help the design and site teams communicate technical requirements.
Support with fire authority approval applications
We prepare technical documentation and support applications to the fire authority (Bomberos) for approval of fire protection systems. Depending on the project and agreed scope, this includes coordinating submissions and responding to review comments.
